Blog Every Day in May

DAY 3

I've decided to take part in the Blog Every Day in May challenge!

However, I'm going to be doing things a little differently. 

I will still be posting my usual styled blog posts 3 times a week,

 but the other 4 days will just be a picture or two with a small explanation. 

It's about time I start taking more pictures!

The Photo Hunt | London, England

A few weeks back I took a day trip to London for my first blogger event. 

The Photo Hunt, set up by Bobbi, Che, and Lulu, is a photo scavenger hunt, allowing bloggers to meet and socialize in a fun environment. 

We were split up into groups of 4 or 5 and given two hours to complete our lists. 

One list contained riddles or phrases relating to a site. Once figuring it out, we would then go to that location, find the Photo Hunt sticker, and write down the letter. Once the list was completed, we unscrambled the letters to complete a phrase. The second list was a creative list. These task were mostly silly/fun things, which added points to our overall score. 

Overall, I had a blast. The Photo Hunt was a great way to meet other like-minded people in a fun setting!

Street Art | Bristol, England

I've wanted to do a post on Bristol's street art since first arriving five months ago. However, for mysterious non-existent reasons, I just haven't gotten around to it. 

Finally! Here it is! 

To me, there's a difference between graffiti and street art. Graffiti carries a negative connotation, whereas street art can be appreciated for its artistic merit and meaning. Bristol is famous for its street art. You can find amazing works around every corner, adding a cool and unique vibe to the city. Banksy, one of the world's most famous street artists, was born and raised here in Bristol. His identity is a mystery, but his work can be found scattered across the city. 

Bristol's street art culture is amazing. If you ever find yourself in Bristol, make sure to bring a camera. You never know what famous piece of work you might stumble across.
