Cinco De Mayo

BLOG EVERY DAY IN MAY | DAY 5

Happy Cinco De Mayo!
For my non-Mexican or American friends,
Cinco De Mayo (5 May) is a day to celebrate Mexican heritage.
It is a pretty big holiday in Texas, as a large portion of the population is Mexican-American (my mother's side included).

El Greengo's Tacos in Bristol is the only decent Mexican food stand in England.
I will stand by that argument until proven otherwise.

Happy Monday!

  3. They look amazing! I'll have to check out the food stand.

It's not Mexican, more South American food, but have you tried the Las Iguanas on Whiteladies Road (now called Iguanas Cocina) It's a chain now, but it started there and in my opinion that one is the best of the lot. Worth checking out for happy hour cocktails alone.

    1. My boyfriend and I actually tried to get a table at the Millennium Square one last night but it was so crowded we went somewhere else! I have yet to try it!
